Boise Based
Candy Company
As a family-owned and operated business, Lee’s Candies has been a Boise tradition for over 75 years and has been passed down through three generations. It was founded by Lee Nokleby in 1947 using the recipes his father, LG, developed while apprenticing in different confectioneries across the country.
Lee’s Candies was a huge success, and in 1972 it moved from its Jefferson Street location to the brand-new Vista Village Shopping Center. Lee retired in 1983 and passed the business on to his son Curtis. Curtis continued the tradition, adding a few new flavors but maintaining the motto “Never Change Your Quality.
In 2020 Curtis found himself ready to retire and passed the reins onto a new family. Father/daughter duo Ken and Katie Fernandez took over the tradition of providing delicious, hand-made candy for the Boise area and beyond.

Lee’s Candies is known for its high-quality chocolates, which are made using traditional recipes and techniques. We offer a wide variety of chocolate products, including truffles, chocolate creams, chocolate-covered nuts and fruits, caramels, and more. We also offer seasonal products like chocolate Easter eggs and Halloween treats.
